Terms of Use
The European Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology (ESSR) is dedicated to advancing the knowledge, diagnosis and treatment of both the normal and abnormal musculoskeletal system by means of imaging. The ESSR provides a European forum for education and research of musculoskeletal radiology.
All offered ESSR courses are aimed at society members and are designed for radiologists and residents in radiology with an interest in musculoskeletal imaging. The aim is to promote the society’s mission in education and research of the imaging of musculoskeletal diseases with a focus on the European tradition of problem solving in this field. New knowledge should be brought from science into clinical practice.
All speakers gave permission to ESSR to display their work in the eLearning Platform, however all intellectual property remains with the authors themselves. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, any unauthorized download, screen capture, sharing, copying and/or other usage is not allowed.
Privacy Policy
1. What information do we collect and what do we do with it?
When you enroll as a student on the ESSR eLearning Platform as part of the enrolling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, country and email address.
Email marketing: we may send you emails about our site and related course(s), registration, course content, your course progress or other updates. We may also use your email to inform you about changes to the course, survey you about your usage, or collect your opinion.
2. How do you get my consent?
When you provide us with personal information to become a learner on our site, make a purchase, or participate in the course, you imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.
If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.
If after you opt-in, you change your mind, you may withdraw your consent for us to contact you, for the continued collection, use or disclosure of your information, at anytime, by contacting us at [email protected].
3. Disclosure
We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms and Conditions.
4. Thinkific
Our course and site is hosted by Thinkific Labs Inc. (“Thinkific”). They provide us with the online course creation platform that allow us to offer our product/services to you.
Your data is stored through Thinkific’s data storage, databases and the general Thinkific application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.
5. Third Party Services
In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.
6. Security
To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.
